Stéphane Tourné has began his journey into the world of professional photography. His work ranged from crafting catalogues, modeling portfolios to capturing the eternal moments of weddings. Photography wasn't just a job for him; it was an instinctual calling. Stéphane understood the essence of light, and the frame came to him naturally. This innate understanding of the art allowed him to focus on the essential elements of photography: the pleasure of the craft, the power of observation, and the art of capturing the perfect moment.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Stéphane has been fortunate to spend over two decades living in Africa and California. He's had the opportunity to photograph an eclectic range of subjects, from presidents and movie artists to both renowned and less-known musicians. His work transcends boundaries; he has collaborated with major international brands, small businesses, and some of the biggest agencies globally. His versatile portfolio encompasses photojournalism, commercials for television, music videos, artist portraits, and more. His work has graced galleries, and he has also been recognized with two awards for the best fashion photographer in Africa.

Today, Tourné resides in La Mure, Isère, a small town of fewer than five thousand inhabitants. In this serene backdrop, he finds immense pleasure in reinventing himself and working on projects that hold a deeper significance. These include capturing the memories of our elders and fostering the creativity of children. He firmly believes that everyone deserves to be photographed with the utmost care and respect. He strives to capture the soul, the aura, the simplicity, the beauty, and the truth in each frame. Tourné's art is not merely about capturing a visible moment but about portraying the unspoken bond, the meaningful exchange that is born out of an encounter.
